How your armory is protected
As of 6 October 2026
Your armory is a record of what you own. This is what 1crew does with it, and what it never does. The privacy notice says the same across the whole app, in more detail.
- It is yours alone. Being in a crew with somebody does not let them see what you own. Nobody sees a firearm of yours unless you share it, and the database enforces that, not the screens.
- Never a serial number. There is no field for one, anywhere in the app.
- Never your location. The app does not ask for it and cannot read it: the permission is switched off for every page.
- Your photos stay on your phone unless you choose to keep a copy on your account. Location and camera data are removed before a copy is stored.
- Lock it on your phone. A PIN, and Face ID or Touch ID where your phone has it, set in the app’s settings. After a few wrong tries it waits longer each time.
- Take it with you. Print or save your armory as a PDF or a CSV, leaving out prices, photos or notes as you choose. You can also download everything the app holds about you, and delete your account.
- Who else can read it. The people who run the database hold a key that bypasses every rule above. That is true of every product of this kind, so it is written down here rather than implied otherwise. No advertising or analytics code runs in the app.
